Merging PDFs — FAQ

How do I merge PDFs online for free?+

Drop the PDFs onto the upload card, drag them into the order you want, and click Merge. The merged PDF downloads instantly. No signup.

Is the merge done in my browser?+

Yes. Everything happens client-side in your browser. Your files are not uploaded to a server during the merge — the only network activity is the page load itself.

How many PDFs can I merge at once?+

Up to 20 files, with each up to 50 MB. If you need more, run two passes — merge 20, then merge that result with the next batch.

Are bookmarks, links, and form fields preserved?+

Page content, fonts, and most annotations are preserved. Bookmarks and form fields may be flattened when copied across documents. For complex forms, edit the source PDFs first, then merge.

Is there a file size limit?+

Each file can be up to 50 MB. The merged total isn't limited beyond browser memory — most modern laptops handle 200+ MB merges without issue.
