Yes. Any US bank that prints a date or statement-period header works — Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Citi, Capital One, US Bank, PNC, Truist, and most credit unions. The splitter looks for headers like "Statement period: 01/01/2024 – 01/31/2024" or plain month names.
Does my statement get uploaded anywhere?+
No. Text extraction, month detection, and ZIP packaging all run in your browser. The PDF never leaves your device.
What if the month detection misses a page?+
Pages with no detected header inherit the previous month, so mid-statement pages still group correctly. If a boundary lands on the wrong page, drag the page into the right group before downloading. You can also adjust the detected month or year on any group.
Can I split scanned (image-only) bank statements?+
Not automatically yet — image-only statements have no text layer to scan. In-browser OCR for scanned statements is on the roadmap. For now, scanned files load as one unlabelled group that you can split manually by dragging pages.
